At 4:25 on November 19t( Chinese Standard Time)， a 6.9-magnitude earthquake struck Fiji in the South Pacific island. Fortunately, the earthquake occurred in the sea area closing to Vanuah Island and no casualties have been found. At the time of the earthquake, a building with superior seismic performance is essential, such as light steel structure. Because the seismic activity is  left-right and up-down, the light steel structure connected by fasteners constitutes a safe and stable space, and the collapse of the wall or the falling of the floor will not endanger the personal safety due to the shaking of the earthquake.
